Malcolm Turnbull moves responsibility for copyright enforcement, online piracy and game ratings (among other things) to the communications portfolio, rather than the Attorney-General’s department.
I don’t think this will change their policy dramatically, however I can only imagine the response from the A-G’s department given their activity in these fields. There wasn’t a mention of data retention but given the deadline for enforcement is close it’s unlikely to change.
