Despite the inconsistency, Labor know what they’re doing with their Labor/Coke sign and grab your eyeballs by the neck yellow/black rep sign.
That Pirate sign just looks pitiful beside those with it’s babyshower blue. I don’t understand the shying away from the black and white design of the core logo, more black.

Although I’m very fond of purple because it stands out and happens to be the colour of the Icelandics PP, I do like the idea of the black and white reminiscent of jolly roger. You can tie it back to the party name easier.
Plus printing is cheaper.
