Flashback demoparty on the long weekend

For those who don’t know, the demoscene has a long history with Pirate tradition. It was part of the original pirate movement in the nineties. It started when DRM fighting groups created “intros” on the front of key generators and cracked software to gain notoriety and esteem. Eventually these intros became so large that they stopped bothering with DRM removing software. That’s why they have the “cinematic pattern” of chest pounding and shout outs to friends and competitors.

In any case, this is a Sydney Demoparty, where you can go to watch the scene and some of their works.
