I think that Australia should definitely be looking after all its citizens, especially ones not convicted of anything.
But it still does not change my view that a lot of the drama is actually being orchestrated by Wikileaks / Assange. Yes the US Gov is overreaching - and this is horrible and thank you wikileaks for highlighting this in an undeniable way.But the next step, using selective information and co-ordinated timing with other players and capitalising on the good will and brand to fuck with democracy to push a blatant agenda, thats not news, thats not reporting, thats not a public service. Thats just cyber political warlord. Gangsta Assange.
