Despite the hype, I’m not convinced this is as bad as they are claiming.
That said, I’ve read the legislation and it reads to me as a solution in search of a problem with potential to be abused down the track. This is a tricky one with a lot of nuance so I’d welcome other views (currently preparing a press release but umming and ahhing over the details).
