I’m unable to edit posts older than about 3 days. I started the Memes thread and would like to add some information to the original post.
@Mozart suggested using the pencil (edit) icon. Understandably Mozart can’t see my options so I ask here rather than derail the meme thread.

I’ve bumped up the edit period from 3 to 7 days. The grace period (where an edit won’t show as an edit remains at 5 minutes. If you need to add information to your post after a week flag it.
The alternative to edit periods is to unhide edit history, I’m open to the idea but I’d like to hear what others think. In the meantime this should suffice.
Thanks @Fletcher. A kindly admin added the suggested disclaimer in my memes OP. I’ll be aware of the edit limit. I’m a happy camper.
